Lorraine-Dietrich is a progressive indie rock band from Kansas City. The band was formed by guitarist/vocalist Peter Grebenyuk in 2018 when he was 16 years old. Lorraine-Dietrich had started as a typical high school band, and today it is known around the world. The band's music catalog has accumulated over 2 million streams across all platforms.
The debut album Devotion was released on October 29th, 2021 with bassist Nathan Reid. The second album Swim for Shore was released on May 10th, 2024 with Logan Fancolly on bass, Alex Brezik and Joseph Cooper on drums. The current lineup consists of Peter and bassist Logan Fancolly with no official drummer at this time.
Peter is the composer, lyricist, and arranger of all Lorraine-Dietrich music. In spring of 2026 he has graduated from the Conservatory of the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) with a Bachelor's Degree in Jazz Studies/Performance. Also, Peter holds the Certificates in Recording Arts and Digital Marketing from Johnson County Community College (JCCC) and in Arts Entrepreneurship from UMKC. With the skills attained Peter records, mixes, masters, promotes all of Lorraine-Dietrich's music and books all shows.
Both Peter and Logan were born and raised in the Kansas City suburbs. They met playing at another band and became friends. Logan comes from a family of a few generations of musicians. Besides being a musician Logan is also an artist. He is the designer of Lorraine-Dietrich merchandise that is available for purchase at live shows.
The 2025 singles were released with drummer Brayden Parker: Do Or Die on March 7th, 2025; Everybody Wants Some Love on May 9th, 2025; Spotlight on July 4, 2025. Following the release of their first single, the band had their very first US tour Do Or Die from March to June, 2025 with the first show on March 22 in Chicago and the last on June 7th in Los Angeles.
The year 2026 started with the release of a new single I'm Off Again on January 2nd with drummer Ian Pond. The band went on tour in the winter and spring to promote the release. The latest single Danger Close was released on May 8, 2026 with the same drummer. The band is actively working on their soon to be released third album which will include the singles from 2025 and 2026.
